Ministers
Ron Ducharme
Ron is from Detroit, Michigan, graduated from Harding University and moved to Tennessee. Ron and Laura have been married 11 years and have 3 delightful children under the age of seven: Kinzey, Braden and Kylie. The Ducharmes have been at Smith springs 7 years and Ron has served at the Youth Minister for the last 6 years. His great joy being involved in the teens’ everyday lives, being a part of their spiritual growth, being able to hang out with them and really listen to what they are saying.
Ron loves ultimate Frisbee, Michigan football and hockey. Ron is less enthusiastic about anything from Ohio.
Tana Michael
Tana is from Nashville and has attended Smith Springs for most of her life. Together with her husband, Steve, the Michaels are blessed with two wonderful children, Meagan and Derek. Both Steve and Tana have been actively involved in many ministries at Smith Springs – youth, benevolence, Room at the Inn, landscaping – always eager to serve. Tana has served marvelously as the secretary for Smith Springs for the last 6 years.
Tana enjoys spending time with her family.
Tim Alexander
Tim was born in Arkansas and grew up in Adelaide, South Australia. Tim and Polly have been married 26 years ago and have two children: Abby, a junior at East Tennessee State University and Ethan, a sophomore at Ezell Harding Christian High School. He has been privileged to serve as a preaching minister since 1984 and blessed to be with Smith Springs since 1999. His greatest joy is the honor of laying God’s Word before His people and then watching how God makes and shapes them to be His people.
Tim loves mountain trails, good stories, classical music, heart-clogging pizza and college football. |
