Although most of us think of a mission field as being somewhere other than America, there is a real need to proclaim the Gospel message to the lost in the U.S.  In 2001, Carl and Alicia Williamson, along with three other couples, moved to New Jersey to begin a church planting campaign.  They began meeting in one another’s homes but soon needed to find another space in which the young, growing congregation could meet.  They eventually found a home at a local elementary school, where they continue to gather.

The New Brunswick Church is now an active, vibrant part of its community which provides services and programs for all its members and guests.  The goal of this church is to have a membership of 250 and be fully self-supporting by 2010.  Plans are already being made to plant a second church in New Jersey, and the New Brunswick church is actively raising money to support that new work.
